Online Casino Transition
The transition from a traditional on site casino to
an online casino can be difficult for a veteran gambler.
For a gambler that is used to the felt jungle of Las
Vegas, the cyber world of gambling is like visiting a
foreign country. But as they say, "when in Rome, do
as the Romans."
First, it would be smart for a veteran gambler to
start off slow when playing at an online casino. Much of
this has to do with the number one adjustment factor
facing a veteran of the Las Vegas Strip, which is the
pace of an online casino gambling environment.
Online casino gambling can feel like a high roller
craps game in that the pace and tempo is far quicker
than is the case of an onsite casino. Many newcomers to
an online casino feel as if they are in a video arcade
with teenagers. There is simply far less time to think
and analyze at an online casino which means that until a
gambler is comfortable with that quicker pace, he is
best off playing for low limits until he reaches a
"comfort zone."
Even if a gambler has a lot of experience playing
certain games of chance on the tables of Las Vegas he
should still not rush in and play for large amounts at
an online casino until he is able to adjust to the fact
that he will need to make snap decisions.
There is nothing wrong with a veteran gambler taking
the time to learn the new world and tempo of online
casino gambling. There is plenty wrong with a gambler
that is stubborn enough to think he can walk right into
it and succeed without taking the time to adjust.
