Stop Limits in Online Gambling
One
of the toughest things to do when gambling online is to know
when to stop. And surprisingly, it is oftentimes harder to know
when to stop in a winning session than it is in a losing session.
One thing that can help is stop limits. What are they and how
can you use them?
Stop limits are an amount of money you set in advance where
you will quit when reaching that number. They can be win stops
or loss stops. For example, you play blackjack and set a stop
limit of $100 when you win. Once you are $100 in the black you
stop playing. That same $100 could be a loss limit so you play
until you lose that amount.
Most people make an adjustment with stop limits when they are
winning. It is easy enough to set a stop loss limit since if
you lose that amount you simply quit. It is tougher to stop
when you are winning and have set a stop limit. To solve this
problem you set a stop limit based on your running session.
For example, if you get hot and turn your $100 into $1,000 you
still have a stop limit of $100 so that if you go down to $900
you stop. Many people won’t stop when they lose that $100
as they figure they are still way ahead and are playing with
house money.
Setting stop limits is very important if you want to win at
online gambling so keep them in mind then next time you are
playing at the online casino.
